Caring for Your Driveway or Patio A driveway or patio is one of the major expenses in home improvement and once put in place needs to be maintained and cared for carefully to ensure it lasts for a long time. Paved areas with slabs need similar maintenance, although re-pointing of the joints using a wet mortar mix is the correct process for paving.
