BUSINESS start-up specialist Frontier IP has signed its first deal with the University of Central Lancashire to launch a spin-out company that turns waste into building materials. The university's "silicate research unit" has designed a method to turn ceramics, incinerated waste and lead glass into building materials including bricks, flooring, wall cladding and work surfaces. 7 per cent stake, already has commercialisation agreements in place with Dundee, Plymouth and Robert Gordon universities. |
