After reading their story in the Free Press, appalled bosses at Libra Energy United Kingdom Ltd in Thorne, Green Energy Solutions UK Ltd in Bentley and Doncaster's QC Scaffolding clubbed together to buy and install the panels free-of-charge - work which would normally cost more than £4,000. She said: "I never expected anything like this. "From our point of view, it puts a dark stain on the industry and we want to get the message out that there are reputable companies out there. After our first story a fortnight ago, the Free Press last week revealed that our article had led to tens of calls from other furious customers about the company prompting trading standards to launch an investigation. The panels will be installed by Green Energy Solutions whose managing director Marcus Payne said: "It's disgraceful what they went through.
