Builders group puts HQ on sale

DAYTONA BEACH -- The Volusia Building Industry Association has put its headquarters building up for sale.

"It's just not meeting our needs now and in the future," said Sandy Bishop, the association's executive officer, of the group's reason for putting the construction up for sale.

"Our general membership meetings a couple years ago drew 25 to 30.

However, it has not made the decision to buy or rent space for its next headquarters.
